PCA/CFSS SERVICES

Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services offer vital support to individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and those with special health care needs, helping them live independently in their communities. These services are available in the Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) member’s home or in the community when daily activities take them outside the home.

PCA services assist with “activities of daily living” (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, transfers, mobility, positioning, and toileting. They also cover other health-related tasks, behavior redirection, and “instrumental activities of daily living” (IADLs) like light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for adults.

PCA/CFSS CHOICE PROGRAM

The PCA Choice program empowers individuals to independently recruit, hire, and train their personal care assistants. This option provides clients with more responsibility in managing their care while allowing Independent Living Partners LLC to act as a fiscal intermediary. We assist with employment and management-related functions, including jointly employing the PCA, billing for services, and processing payments.
